Men’s Ministries
Mission statement: Our purpose is to encourage and equip men to become Christ-like servant leaders in the home, the Church and the community.
Annual Retreat: Dec 10-11, 2010
Retreat for men of the Church and community. Speaker will be Jeff Kemp who will speak about families and marriage. The theme is “Making of a Man, A Christian Man, A Christian Husband, a Christian Father”. Jeff is a former quarterback in the NFL and founder of “Stronger Families” organization. The retreat will be at Moran State Park Environmental Center on Friday December 10th and Saturday December 11th. Additional information about Jeff is provided below.

Breakfasts {Four times a year} Recent events have featured Gary Covington and Bob Cairns as speakers. Stan Armstrong has organized and managed the breakfast for each event.
The next breakfast with speaker will feature David Eckland as speaker on January 15, 2011. Dave will be talking about how the wilderness expeditions have effected men of the Church and enhanced their lives.
Serving
Work Parties for Church Work
Twice a year men of the Church assemble for breakfast and then conduct work on the buildings and the grounds to enhance the appearance and condition of our facilities.
Outreach-Firewood for People of the Church
People of the Church donate fire wood that is then provided to those in need of wood to keep warm during the winter months. Coordinator: Dick Wood
Helping Hands
Purpose is to meet extraordinary needs of the community that require men to construct and repair facilities that are needed by people who can not perform their own work. Coordinator: Gary Clark.
