Welcome to our Website!

Jim & Judy Kemp: Judy was a friend of Pastor LeComptes family before they came to Orcas in the 60's. We began to support her financially and continued when she married Jim. They have been working in Brazil ever since. He is like a pastor for pastors and is involved in writing family books and publishing Christian magazines as well as teaching seminars on family life. Recently they have taken steps to train national people to take over the work they've been doing so the baton can be passed. We have supported them for over 35 years. Jkemp60@cs.com

Adrian & Cheryl Mingo: Cheryl niece to the Montgomeries in our church. She met & married Adrian while serving as a missionary in South America. Their actual work now is with Chosen Children Ministries in Nicaragua. They have 6 children. mingos@themingos.com

David & Julie Pederson: Much of David's growing up years were here on Orcas Island. He's one of the Darvill's Printshop and Bookstore Pedersons. He surprised many of us who knew him as a child by accepting Christ as an adult. They are in Nigeria, with a new ministry that helps people to support themselves and their families by selling craft work in the US. This is called Rafiki. They have 4 children at home. pederson@dts.mg

Stan & Carol Rubesh: We met the Rubeshes through Rick Cordell. At first they were working on the island of Sri Lanka with but were reassigned to the Arab peninsula where Stan became the pastor to people of many nationalities who work temporarily in that country. Carol has an effective work with families and Stan recently became coordinator of the region for their organization. The mission also has an excellent hospital facility which draws many. Their three boys are all grown and married. We have supported them for over 10 years. chairman@tapmail.com
